Thomas will add you to Arbiter, you can't be added any other way.
First-year officials should contact Thomas Walkoviak, he will send you a welcome email with login info. You might have to check spam.

ALL OF THESE ITEMS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL 1ST AND 2ND YEAR OFFICIALS
We are excited to have you all as new and/or returning official this year. PLEASE NOTE...YOU WILL BE OFFICIATING SUMMER LEAGUE MATCHES. In an effort to provide you all with as much training as possible, we will have basic on-court training on the following dates:

Please sign up for the all the dates you can attend ASAP. I will put you on the dates in arbiter so you will know what court and gym you will be in. The more trainings you attend, the better, as they will prepare you for the upcoming season. A minimum of 3 are required. We realize some of you have to work and may need to get there late or leave early. Please let the lead instructor know if you are running late or need to leave early.
Please dress comfy...no uniforms. You can bring drinks/snacks. Bring a Fox 40 whistle. The Sonik Blast CMG is recommended. You can most likely buy one at Academy or Dicks. PLEASE DO NOT COME WITH A WHISTLE THAT HAS A BALL/PEA IN IT!
There will also be classroom and/or zoom trainings and in depth on court trainings...info with dates, times, locations, etc. about those will be sent out asap.
Scrimmages will be assigned to you, they are Aug. 4, 5, 7. Minimum of 2 are required. They will be listed on arbiter on your schedule.
IF YOU ARE NO LONGER INTERESTED IN OFFICIATING VOLLEYBALL, PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL TAKE YOU OFF THE LIST.

Complete all BVTASO Chapter Training Modules. There are currently 6 modules, the brief training video, and BVTASO - 1st and 2nd Year Official - Pre Season Orientation are on the BVTASO Arbiter Central Central Hub.
To access them, take the following steps:
Take and pass TASO Volleyball Official online exam. To access the test, go to www.taso.org and click on Members Login, then enter your TASO ID number and password.
Complete the TASO Online Clinic Modules (these are different from the chapter modules).
Scroll to the bottom. Click on Begin Test to take the exam.
Scroll down to the Volleyball Clinics area and click on "Start Video". Watch each of the modules listed. Please use a computer and google chrome web browser.
Rule books will be available in June or Ju;ly. Case Books, Illustrated and Simplified books, and NFHS Preseason Guides available same time as rule books. Testing and TASO Online clinic is not available until JULY. Visit taso.org and log into members portal.
